I've played a few rounds in my day - and can hold my own. Tho I always thought throwing sharp metal darts ina bar  with people drinking.......could present problems

So it looks like we got 6 or 7 interested.    Any more??

I'll take a trip down to see Pat at Lavelle's one evening after the Indigo meet-up.   So I'm thinking late March sometime.

Hey! This sounds fun. I've only played darts on one of those wussy electronic boards, but I could be interested! I have this tendency to hit the bullseye when I'm not even trying.

Question: do I have to bring my own darts? Because I don't have any. If yes, does someone have some I can borrow?

Please don't plan it around this, but if you guys end up having it the weekend of the 15th or the 22nd, I won't be able to make it, I'm going to be up in CT both weekends. (Gah, I feel like I'm spending more time up there lately than I am here, but those 2 weekends are family things, so I've gotta go.)
What's so funny 'bout peace, love and understanding?

It's going to be a during-the-week type of thing.   Sat nights they have traditional Live Irish music for the McGeriatric club.    I guess we COULD do it on a Fri as I've never really seen the place packed.

Like I said, I'll feel Pat out on when he thinks is good.

Ooh, I might be interested, depending on the time of day, and what night it was.  I used to play darts with my dad, and actually got fairly good - but I haven't played in several years so I probably suck again.  I'm down if no one minds someone who'll be easily whooped in a game.

Yeah, yeah... I know.      Had the flu during that month and still playing catch-up with all my responsibilities.

I'll get down to see Pat at Lavelle's this week and figure out a date.   I know a league started or starts soon on Wed nights so that night will most likely be out.

Sorry for not updating folks.  :-)

Why on a weekday? Make it on a Saturday or Sunday night and I'll be there, otherwise I'll be working that hour. Unless you want to make it later...

Why on a weekday?

Uh, cause most bars are too crowded/have events going on to effectively play darts, if at all.

Is there a weekday that you're avail?  How later are we talking?

Anytime after 10 since I work till then, so let's say 10:30, unless it's Monday in which case it can be anytime.
