Whitey Ford Field
« on: February 11, 2008, 09:39:58 PM »
I recently went to Whitey Ford baseball field. It was a beautiful field. I asked others around and no one seems to know it exists. It's not even listed on the NY Parks & Recreation website. Why is that? If it's not used as a baseball field. How about we turn it into a soccer field where it would get some use?

a.k.a - Hellgate Fields  1 St., 2 St., 26 Ave., and East River. You should see the view. At the least it should be a multi use field.

To the best of my knowledge, they DO use that field.   I'll find out this weekend for sure.

P.S.  Soccer sucks, imho.  :-P
