That would be nice, but no.  I do this because I just like their damn soup.

Today's soup is: Lentil tomato cream.

What happened to this thread?!  Not soup season anymore?

I moved upstate so while this isn't always immediately relevant to me -- I do like to day dream about the soup of the day.

Il Bambino still makes excellent soup every day.  I just stopped posting them.  It took two weeks for someone to notice, so I imagine that it wasn't at the forefront of peoples' minds.  I'm passing the torch.

You can feel free to call up every day and post what they are to carry on the tradition.

I noticed a while ago but have been on vacation.  I called during my days without internet Smiley

The rumor is cold soup for summer months.

I noticed the lack of the soup thread before too, but didn't ask since I am just as capable of posting what the soups are as you are. It will be exciting if they offer new soups for the warm weather, and perhaps our passion for the soup of the day thread will be renewed. Wink

Monotony in all forms is unappealing.

I've had the soup there twice lately. The first time was a pumpkin, apple, and rosemary soup, which was so phenomenal that we ordered an extra two soups to take home with us. Unfortunately they said pumpkin season generally ends at the end of October and he would not likely be making that soup past that time since the quality of the pumpkins becomes too variable. The second time was the always delicious white bean soup.
