So glad when Vern comes, and then the season starts.

BASEBALL IS BACK!!!!

I'm so thrilled that the radio is broadcasting exposition/spring training games!!

March is so much better than February.

Actually have a few minutes to watch on YES before I go do my building's garbage.

Is it just me, but I really can't stand Susan Waldman/Waltman.

I think it may be her voice with the on again/off again New English accent.

I miss The Scooter and Bill White.  (showing my age)

Maybe just you?

I am glad for her return. I think of her as a fan with a microphone.

She has been honored by countless organizations, including the Thurman Munson Foundation, the March of Dimes, the B'nai B'rith, the Jimmy Fund of Boston, the NY Baseball Scouts and the US Federal Women's Program for her contributions as a role model and a pioneer in women's sportscasting. She is a tireless motivational speaker at schools and cancer centers around the country, encouraging young women to pursue their dreams despite any pitfalls they may encounter.

I love pitching, and am usually not a fan of NYT sports. But they have a hot article on The Subject today.

I can't stand her, she's the primary reason I can't listen to Yankee games on the radio anymore.  Utterly horrible.

NY Times has a sports section?  I did not know this.  :-D

All jokes aside, that was a good article.  This is batters in the NL, especially in the east, will be looking at this season.  I can't wait to see what Pedro has done to his pitches.

I agree she annoys the crap out of me.  I wonder if John Sterling feels the same way.

I like Michael Kaye's radio show on ESPN radio 1050, despite the fact that he is a Yankee apologist, largerly because of his YES, which includes the incredibly awful play-by-play and the irritating Center Stage.

EDIT: To clarify, I like his show on the radio because of the group of guys he has and the give-and-take they have.  If it would be just him and say, Kenny or Al L., it would be just as bad as his YES Network shows!

Well, I'll dissent here and say that I like her.  I was really happy to hear her on the radio on Sunday.

Wooooooooooooooooo!  BASEBALL!!!   SO exciting.   :-)

I like listening to Michael Kay as well.  He'll never admit to being a Yankee fan, but it's pretty obvious that he is.

One guy I simply cannot tolerate is Mike Lupica and his consistent Yankee bashing.  The Yanks are in a no win situation.  He bashes them for making the playoffs due to the high payroll.  But then he bashes them also when they're on losing streaks claiming that the high payroll means they should win all the time. :|

Kay IS a Yankee fan. If not the Yankees, who?
Love the guy. With all the cheese too.
