Anybody remember WETSONS???

It was on Astoria Blvd. and 29th street where Burger King is (which before that was Roy Rogers & before that Nathan's!). they use to give matchbox cars away on weekends with a 1/4 pounder!!

wow  that brings back memories.in the 70s  i remember wetsons off belt parkway off cropsey ave and the other wetsons near coop city in the bronx.does anyone remember the whitecastle in the bronx  where u would order from your car a young women on rollerskates would talk your order and bring your food  this was the 60s.

Wetson's had the best little Burger Bags to keep them warm. Foiled paper and were indestructible! My Dad STILL has some bags that hold replacement Christmas lights.Those bags are at least 40 years old!

We used to go to a Wetson's out on Long Island.  I think it was on Main Street in Bayshore.  It was a special treat when we went there!  And Arthur Treacher's, too, for fish and chips!!

that Wetson's in Bayshore was on Sunrise Highway across from the South Shore mall. The Arthur Treacher's was by the Putt_Putt!!!
