Update - thank you for the lead.  We can hold the meeting at Quinn.  This is the catch - it would have to begin at 6:30 p.m. so that we could end at 8:00 p.m.

As I mentioned, we need at least 40 people to make an impact.  I tried hard to put together a survey but I am inept at this sort of thing.  I would like to determine the most popular date that would work for people.  Can someone assist please?

I would propose:

Wednesday, November 14th
Thursday, November 15th
Wednesday, November 28th
Thursday, November 29th

I would not want to close the survey until we had at least 25 respondents.

Can someone create this please?

Thanks very much.

I vote for either November 15 or November 29.  Do we have a new thread for this that I am missing?

Costa - you are the first respondent since my last post from two weeks ago.  Unfortunately, there does not seem to be much interest.  If we cannot get about 40 people to attend this meeting, it is not worth the time and effort.

Debbie, I was actually waiting for the poll to get started.  I'm still interested.  I could pretty much do any of those nights, as long as I don't have a ton of work to do.

I thought I was missing something.  There are a bunch of us that are very interested in seeing this meeting happen. Maybe starting a new thread to make it easier to follow might get things moving  afro

Start a list. You'll get your 40 people. Plus many of us will not be coming alone.

I can guarantee 5-10 people from my list.  This meeting is very important for our community.  These issues need to be addressed and we need to go beyond the the usual channels. I will address the need for attendance at the next meeting of the Astoria DFNYC linkup.

I have posted a new thread "Survey for meeting with our local representatives" as a simple survey.  Please go to this thread and help us choose a night to make this meeting a reality  afro
