What do people think?  Would people be interested in marching?  I think if we can get a group of 20-25 people it would be a respectable showing and would get the word out about Out Astoria - though we wouldn't have time to put a banner together.  Let's get a quick discussion going.  The parade is THIS SUNDAY, in Jackson Heights, starting at noon.

Sounds like a great idea, but does Queens Pride require groups to register beforehand?  I'd join you, but it conflicts with a rehearsal for chorus.

They actually specifically asked us to march - but I'm not sure we have enough lead time or folks committed to march.  I may see if we can get some Astorians to march with Stonewall Democrats and Marriage Equality New York and just have a mini sign that says Out Astoria.  I'd still like to hand out some fliers and build our mailing list.
