Grants for Individual Artists and Nonprofit Organizations

Are you organizing an arts or music festival? Are you putting on a new theater, dance, or performance piece in the neighborhood? Are you working with local artists on a project for the community?

If so, the application cycle for the 2018 Queens Arts Fund is now open and the Queens Council on the Arts encourages you to apply!

QAF grants fund Queens–based projects that offer distinct cultural programs for the community by individual artists, collectives, artist–nonprofit partnerships, and nonprofit organizations. Grants range from $1,000 to $5,000.

If you are a Queens artist or if you are producing or presenting cultural activities in Queens in 2018, we encourage you to apply for any of the funding opportunities available: the Community Arts Grant, Arts Access Grant, New Works Grant, and Community Engagement Commissioning.

The online grant application, eligibility requirements, and other application guidelines for the new grant cycle are available on the QCA website: http://www.queenscouncilarts.org/qaf/. The deadline for all applications is October 26, 2017.

Don’t miss your chance to learn more about Queens Arts Fund and hear from staff about how to prepare your application.
