September 16, 2016 (Fri)   from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PMBrickHouse Ceramic Art Center10-34 44th DriveLong Island City, New York 11101   718-784-4907   Cost: $85 per person or two people for $160Enjoy expert instruction as you are guided through a professional pottery lesson in a casual, social environment. Experience a night of fun and creativity paired with a selection of specially chosen wines. Projects will be geared with the oenophile in mind, such as a wine chiller, a wine bottle coaster or wine glass charms.

Maegan Kovatch of Square Wine and Spirits, brings her vast knowledge of wine to our fun, creative event. We will be traveling the New York region through wine as we sip our way from vineyard to vineyard and grape to grape. Fun will be had by all, from the novice to the connoisseur, as we take the stuffiness and intimidation out of wine tasting. Wine should be fun, especially the sipping part.
Let’s get together and make something with your own hands, learn a little, sip a lot, and create memories! We’ve paired some exceptional cheese and noshes meant to complement the wines we’re serving.
Cost includes the wine we’ll taste, the project you create and glazing of the pottery you make.
Maegan Kovatch has been the General Manager & Wine Buyer for Square Wine & Spirits since 2011 and in the wine industry since 2008. She attended the Professional Culinary Institute in the greater San Francisco Bay Area and studied under Master Sommelier David Glancy of the Court of Master Sommeliers.
