Paper shredding?
« on: April 07, 2016, 01:03:59 AM »
I have a large amount of paper to shred, more than my home shredder could handle. Does anyone know of a place in Astoria I can take paper to be shredded? Thanks!

UPS Store on Steinway between 28 and 30 has a deal with Iron Mountain.  I've used them three times for large loads and they have been very helpful (one time when I mistook their closing time, they opened up and let me drop it off so that  I didn't have to schlep it back)

Save your money! There's a paper shredding event happening soon (I forgot when exactly) at St. Francis of Assisi.

Also, if you subscribe to the grownyc.org newsletter (the organization that runs the Greenmarket), you'll get notifications of shredding and other recycling events.
