Yes, I was wondering the same myself. Was shocked to see it closed and boarded up the other day! I looked inside and the whole place was gutted, so I guess remodeling (as Victorine said). And since they have such nice painted-blue boards and the sign is the same, I'm thinking it'll still be Lefkos Pirgos, but new & improved...

Definitely remodeling. The building permits on the side of the blue plywood talk about changing levels and moving partitions and things like that...

my friend and i call this place "chocolate cake."  the reason why is because everytime we've gone there, we try to find out the names of several different kinds of dessert, and they always tell us that everything is named "chocolate cake."  this is one of the restaurants/cafes that i often feel unwelcome because i am not greek.
