Financial Management & Retirement Planning for Artists

 Wednesday, October 8, 6:00-8:00pm
Join us Wednesday, October 8, for a Build Your Own Business (BYOB) Intensive workshop in which artists learn and discuss options for financial management and retirement planning. From savings and investment strategies to the fundamentals of insurance coverage, Investors Bank's Maria Odysseos and Ahmed Khan will share their years of financial planning experience with Queens artists. Come out and learn how to achieve long-term financial stability.

 Maria Odysseos has a 25 year career in banking. Her focus has been the Astoria, Queens banking market for the past 15 years. She is a member of the Queens Chamber of Commerce and the Long Island City Partnership. Ms. Odysseus is also a Board member of Queens Council on the Arts. She earned a degree in Business Management from St John’s University.
Ahmed Khan has been licensed in the investment and securities industry since 2005. Prior to joining Investors Financial Group as a Financial Advisor in 2013, he worked for JP Morgan Chase helping clients to financially plan and strategize to achieve their financial goals. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management & Systems at Columbia University.
