Tax season is around the corner! Join us for this Build Your Own Business (BYOB) Intensive workshop with Susan Lee, a Certified Financial Plannerâ„¢ and Tax Preparer who will discuss financial and tax issues confronting artists, with a session for questions & answers. Susan will address goal setting, managing cash flow, tax deductible expenses for artists, tips to help artists thrive through financial thickets and do their taxes, myths and facts of freelance filing, preparing for an audit, and useful resources for tax and financial services.

Susan Lee has worked with artists and freelancers in New York City for over twenty years. As a Certified Financial Planner, Susan has presented on tax and financial issues facing artists at organizations such as Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, Columbia University, The Center for Book Arts, Bronx Museum, and the New York Foundation for the Arts among others. For many years, she hosted and produced a weekly holistic financial radio show, You and Your Money, on WBAI-FM in NYC.
