Hi! I'll be moving to Astoria in the next couple months and I'm looking for some realtor recommendations. Also, what's the standard broker's fee in Astoria these days? One realtor told me it was a month's rent, which I would expect. But another said 10% of the total yearly rent, yikes.

If you must use a broker try to look at their yelp reviews.
Most charge 1 month,
But also try to find non-fee apartments listed in craigslist. You have to weed through all the fake broker postings, but you can come across some real owners posting there

We worked with Imtiaz Hossain a few years ago and he was responsive and professional.  His broker fee was 1 month rent.
