Queens Council on the Arts (QCA) supports the hard work and contributions of the borough’s creative citizens with our Queens Arts Fund (QAF) grant program. These QAF grants help build the creative community in Queens.
 
The online submission deadline for ALL applications is Thursday, October 9, 2014. The QAF application must be submitted using QCA’s online application will be available after July 1st at http://queenscouncilarts.org/about-the-qca-grant-programs. Individual artists and non-profit organizations producing cultural programming in all arts disciplines are encouraged to apply for DCA Greater New York Arts Development Fund or NYSCA Community Grants Program.
 
All applicants are welcome to attend any of the application info session and take advantage of the QAF resources on the QCA website, www.queenscouncilarts.org.  This includes new guidelines and eligibility, the video tutorials, the downloadable resources, and the FAQs section.
 
1) Meet with a QCA staff member at Queens Council on the Arts to ask questions and discuss your grant application. Appointments are 20 minutes long and are open to organizations and individuals.

2) QAF Application Information Session- Open to Individual Artists and Organizations. Workshops will begin promptly at 6PM and last approximately 2 hours. Please be on time. No RSVP is required.

In 2014, QCA awarded over $180,000 in grants to 31 individual artists and 47 organizations for the creation of arts and cultural programming in the borough of Queens. The Queens Art Fund is made possible in part by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
