Cleaning Person REcommendations
« on: May 28, 2014, 12:00:40 PM »
Hi

Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a reliable cleaning person. I'm looking for someone to come in 1x per month to clean my 2 bedroom apartment.

Thanks!

Idle curiosity, but hypothetically, how would the cleaner know that the client is reliable?  I would feel awful recommending the lady who cleans for me to someone who may be abusive, or not reliable in paying, etc.

I guess we would just each try each other out to see if there's a fit.  If the cleaner didn't like me, they wouldn't have to come back and if i didn't like them, I wouldn't ask the cleaner back.  I've tried Handybook and haven't been satisfied with the service. (I am paying $100+ for them to use a swifer to clean my floors…) so I was hoping I could reach out to my neighbors for a recommendation.

I posted a recommendation for an excellent cleaning person here: http://www.astorians.com/community/index.php?topic=28819.msg242029#msg242029
