Is it just me, or do they do as much (if not more) self-promotion than they do reporting the news?

Every time I see that "On Stage" promotion with Sutton Foster (which is like EVERY 10 MINUTES, if not more often) I want to throw my remote into the TV!!!

They promote to the peopel that already have them.

Time Warner commercials boast about how they are the only ones that have NY1 as if that's a good thing. Such an annoying station. If TWC offered a clock on their cable boxes like back in the day, people wouldn't need NY1 anymore.
Do you like Huey Lewis and The News?

my whole house  DVR (Cisco) has a clock display, if you go into the box settings you can switch the display from channel to clock
