The dramatic independent feature, I Love You, Apple, I Love You, Orange, written and directed by NYU graduate Horam Kim, will have its world premiere at the Queens World Film Festival at the Secret Theatre, 44-02 23rd St., in Long Island City on Wednesday, March 6 at 7:45pm (Bitter Sweet block). Screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at http://www.queensworldfilmfestival.com/films/detail.asp?fid=275.

A literary film about love, loneliness, and an evil talking ham, I Love You, Apple, I Love You, Orange tells the personal story of Maggie, a lonely woman with a set routine: she gets up, makes the bed, brushes her teeth, cooks breakfast, writes lists, and cries. But when her mother sets her up on a blind date with Martin, her world changes, and she finds herself falling for the mysterious young man. Now standing in the way of their budding romance are her only friends: the talking fruits, vegetables, and evil ham that occupy her house.
