Starting a catch all thread for the next year to post things that make me chuckle about politics. I hope others will join me.

What I learned today.

Ann Coulter is not a fan of the French Revolution (She compared it to OWS).

Herman Cain is leading in a poll (You GOPers really hate Romney).

Mitch McConnell is the actual leader of the Senate - Think about it...nothing can even be debated without his approval.

ALL REGULATIONS ARE BAD....oh and they are job killers. I guess that includes the regulations covering coal mines. In 1907,  3242 miners died.....in 1910, Congress creates the Mine Safety and Health Administration. Since then, deaths have fallen to 33 in 2007. Cause and effect anyone????????

Oh, and I dare you to goggle Santorum.

The Jan polls should be interesting for Romney.

Not really germane, or is it? Sharks and manta rays are related. I blame Darwin.
[Ms Bach says no they are not]

MC and HR allow some debates, not many votes. Still thinking better than when one party has 60 in the Senate.
Not so valuable, but 3 Dems voted against Obama's JobsWishList.

Dollarocracy, duh.

Thought it interesting report, that NYS and NYC get so much revenue related to Wall Street, about 20% and 10%, but surprising to me that NYS would be more dependent... why would that be? What isnt the state more diversified economicly?
Does the city benefit more then from hotels and tourism? and perhaps film too.

Yes, that's a lot of pizza

Obama raises $70 million. Is that a lot?

President Obama raised $70 million in this quarter of the year, more than any single GOP candidate, and possibly more than all of GOP candidates combined.

Also the Occupy Wall Street protesters aren't bearing automatic weapons like the Tea Party did when they rallied at the Capitol and at the White House.
