Yes, but Jimmy McMillian didn't do anything to cause the subprime banking crisis:

So at least he has that going for him.
And, at least to my knowledge, he never played Marilyn Monroe to the hooker screwing, abusing police force governor Elliot Spitzer like Andy did:

So nope, still going for the rent is too damn high guy. He may screw up royally in the future, but Andy's got it on his resume right now.
I agree with Sweeer here, minus the endorsement of Rent is Too Damn High guy.
I simply do not trust Andrew Cuomo. As HUD Secretary he was a huge cheerleader for subprime mortgages, not sure that I can blame him for the entire thing, I think both parties failed there. But, he was a big part of it.
I also remember something about $59 billion being lost under Cuomo's reign at HUD. He didn't even investigate the loss of that money. It just disappeared.
His support of President Obama's atrocious Race to the Top is disappointing. The last thing we need at a time when there are huge state budget cuts is to have to compete with one another for cash. It's a pathetic way of treating education.
I also doubt that Cuomo is someone who has the average working and middle class in mind. His campaign contributions include more than a thousand donations of $10,000 or more, including one of $55,000 from a parking lot. Yes, there was a donation that was actually made by a parking lot. Sketchy, no?
I am voting for
Warren Redlich, the Libertarian candidate. To me, he is the strongest candidate,
socially and
economically.
