I responded to a post that was in the Business Listings section, but there's probably a better chance that people will see it here...

I'm looking to get my Louis XV couch reupholstered...a recent sidewalk find   afro
Looks like this:


i've already emailed LIS near Astoria Blvd.
anyone else have any new suggestions or experience at a place in Astoria?

Have no experience with them, they are on Steinway, near 23rd avenue, close to auto repair store. Sorry I don't know the name, but they have been there for a long time.Good luck, great find !

I can recommend LIS Upholstery. Well,I should add that all they didn't do any upholstery for me, they took some well worn couch  back cushions and brought them back to life.  However, in their shop they had a lot of antique pieces they were reupholstering and they looked lovely.  Also, they folks there were quite nice.
