Interesting bio indeed, but the guy's platform is pure lunacy.

Just an aside, as it is far from the most objectionable of his positions, IMO: I am curious about these people evangelizing about organic farming.  It is nice as a sort of boutique thing for people who are willing to pay higher prices, but I seriously doubt we could sustain even the world's current population if organic farming took hold everywhere.  So, how we do choose who does not get to eat?
There is no such thing as a stupid question
There are, however, many inquisitive idiots :)

If they float, they're witches and they don't get to eat.

Sorry.  For some reason Monty Python's in my head tonight.

I actually think we're in desperate need for a revamping of our agricultural system.  I don't know if organic farming, as we now know it, is the answer, but anything that moves us away from the environmental and health disaster that is our current massive cattle/pig/corn/soy production is absolutely necessary.

will it float?

I dont know what the gov's role there would be, but yes, if we could eliminate or reduce farming subsidies, that would be great.
Most elections, I can find at least one green to perhaps vote for. I dont think that is the case this year.

But their candidate has a very serious bio.
