Hello all- does anyone know of any LGBT organizations that take clothing donations and also do pickup? Or know of any gay friendly organizations that would do it? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am pretty certain Carmen's Place, the LGBT youth shelter in Astoria would take clothing donations - I think they have a website.  Father Louis Braxton runs the organization.  The Ali Forney Center operates a shelter in Astoria as well, though I'm not sure if they need/take clothing.

After having moved in a settled here at Trinity, I am finding that I have some clothes, including some rather nice shoes I no longer wear (though they need a bit of polishing) to donate.

Any ideas since the last post about who might need them? Especially folks going on job interviews?
