Perhaps the question should be - what would FZ do to stop the attack.  I would like to know.

FZ would hide in fear while watching Fox News.

A spirited discussion and/or debate is all good but PLEASE leave the name calling out of your posts.  It is against the rules of the board and serves no purpose other than to cheapen the discussion.  Thanks.

Well, he started it by suggesting that we should ignore every issue but terrorism. But he doesn't admit that a plane in a building that contains federal employees is just as much as a terrorist act as what occurred on 9-11.

We should be allowed to call out his hypocrisy.

Although I could have a field day with the "Well, he started it..." part of your post... :-P  I will simply say that I am extremely confident that you can call someone out as being a hypocrite, or anything else for that matter, without having to resort to calling them a "dumbass" or whatever else.

I was just wondering why it might be considered name calling if you tell a "dumbass" that they are a dumbass? Don't you have to name call someone a different name call than what they are? Or isn't it considered polite to name call an "asshole" a "dumbass"? I get very confused by the rules and how they are enforced. Seems to me that recently someone name called someone else an "asshole" and nothing happened. But I guess name calling someone a "dumbass" is different. Right?

I won't hold my breath waiting for the apologies that are owed.

Nobody said it couldn't happen. the OP's point was that we shouldn't focus on things like reforming healthcare because the terrorists are still out there.

My point was that we shouldn't stop living.

I said, yes the threat is out there......but we can't live in fear of it.

So, no I don't apologize. Because I never said that an attack here couldn't happen. I know it can. But I'm not going to stop my life because of it.
