I've been getting mine at Rite Aid, Duane Reade, etc.  They are usually quite happy to give them away.

I definitely recommend the large store route. When I moved a couple months back, I got most of my boxes from Key Food. They happily hand them out daily after they're done with their deliveries for the day. Just ask an employee if you can take them. Same goes for the big drug stores.

I can't believe we haven't moved yet.
I can't believe we haven't gotten all our boxes yet
I can't believe months later - i'm still thinking about packing

Does anyone have more boxes?
Most in need of small ones (for books)
but as I move past the books I may find out I need med and large as well

Thanks in advance
Jen

Go to your local Key Food/Rite Aid/etc in the evening (like after 7) and ask them if they have any boxes you can have. You can get a variety of nice, sturdy ones, some with dividers of all sizes. They're boxes that their product shipments come in, and they just sit around until someone cuts them up and puts them outside at night. This is really the best way to do it.
