While walking to the Steinway R/V station I saw a new awning across the street.  It read "Azteca Pride/El Rey del Taco."  Can anyone confirm or deny that that's the taco truck people?  (I mean the one in front of Rite Aid.)  If I take the N or W home tonight and see the truck I'll ask them; meanwhile, does anyone have any information?

A few storefronts down from that "El Mundo Discount" store, just north of the Thai take-out.

If this is them, they'll be on my way home when I take the R or V, whereas now they're on my way home when I take the N or W, so it's a wash for me, really.  which is good 'cause I need a wash.

I'm another Ditmartian who's jealous too.  Fresco Tortillas almost doesn't exist in my mind, after having tried their food.

Went to taco truck tonight and asked about this, they are going to have the restaurant and still have the truck.  It makes sense, the truck only gets there around 7, he could probably do a good business during the day for lunch.

So, by the sound of it, this place is going to be across the street from Popeye's.  Yay!  We tend to have Popeye's too much for my liking (way too much grease) and it'll be nice for an alternative when my fiance goes to grab some Popeye's.

This is going to be a little south of Popeye's.

Not so sure it's less greasy, but it sure is tasty.

Hey taco fans, I was just at the Key Food on 30th avenue and the el Rey Del Taco truck was parked in its usual spot in front of Rite Aid.
