Mundo Cafe and Restaurant has been catering to vegetarians since it opened it's doors a few years back. Now it is helping reach out to the gluten-free community. Please join the NYC Celiac Disease Meetup group for a gluten-free pre-fixe dinner on July 9th. Visit our website for more information and to RSVP for the gluten-free event. Space is limited so register today!

Monotony in all forms is unappealing.

This totally rules.  Thanks for the heads-up, erpotown.  Mundo is one of my favorite restaurants in town, and this makes me love them even more.  No, I am not allergic/intolerant to gluten, but I appreciate that they are doing this.   afro

Most beers are a no-no to those of us who can't eat gluten. Sunswick actually carries some sorghum-based beers. I don't think Mundo does though.

Please note, you cannot make your reservations for this event through Mundo. You must sign up for the event through the NYC Celiac Disease Meetup Group! Mundo is getting a number of phone calls from confused patrons looking to make a reservation for this event. Sorry for any confusion.

Due to low participation during these summer months, we are postponing the gluten-free dinner at Mundo until September. Please check back then.

Thanks
